Labs owning dPCR and susceptible to participate to JRC stability studies

Dear Colleagues,

As you know, the validated PCR methods for the detection of ruminant, pig and poultry DNA in feed need the determination of a specific cut-off for each PCR platform used for that purpose. The determination of the cut-off is based on the use of calibrants at well-defined copy numbers provided by JRC. To insure the quality of the calibrants, JRC organizes characterisation studies during which the copy numbers concentrations of the calibrants are determined by different labs using different digital (chamber or droplet) PCR platforms. Also regular stability studies are organised for which digital PCR measurements are needed.

JRC would like to extend its panel of labs participating to these studies and asked to EURL-AP to diffuse this call.

Labs using digital PCR and interested to participate to the studies organised by JRC can visit the webpage Participation in CRM projects – Certified Reference Materials catalogue of the JRC (europa.eu) for more information.

Thank you for your interest and support,

Best regards,
